Chiles
Chiles (12-1) enters the final stretch of the regular season ranked No. 6 in the state of Florida and No. 12 nationally, the highest ranking in Leon County by a wide margin. Chiles has continued their dominant form with four straight 5-0 sweeps, starting April 2 against Mosley and South Walton, followed by a key district win over Leon on April 7 and another sweep of Lincoln on April 8. With two matches still remaining, the team is carrying significant momentum and has firmly established itself as one of the top programs in both the state and the country heading into postseason play. The Timberwolves will finish their regular season off with a home game against Maclay on April 15.
Florida High
Florida High has put together a strong late-season surge, winning its most recent four matches in convincing fashion, including 5-0 sweeps over Sneads on April 2, Wakulla on April 7, and Blountstown. That stretch has helped stabilize a season that included early tests against top competition, including a tough 3-2 loss at Leon on March 3 and another narrow 3-2 setback to Leon on March 26, along with a challenging match against Chiles. Despite those setbacks, the team has consistently rebounded with dominant performances, highlighted by a 5-0 road win at Lincoln on March 10 and a sweep of Wakulla in their earlier meeting on March 11, showing clear growth and depth as the regular season nears its conclusion.
Leon
Leon battled through a competitive late season stretch, splitting results against some of the toughest opponents on its schedule while finishing strong in recent play. Most recently, the Lions earned a 5-0 sweep over Maclay on April 9 after a tough 5-0 loss at Chiles on April 7, showing resilience after facing one of the top programs in the area. Earlier in the season, key matchups included a hard-fought 3-2 win over Florida High on March 26, which highlighted the team’s ability to perform in tight duals, as well as a dominant 5-0 road win at Lincoln on March 11 that helped establish early momentum. Despite setbacks against strong competition like Chiles and Bishop Kenny, the team has consistently responded with strong performances and enters the final stretch showing both growth and depth across the lineup.
