High school bowling teams from around the Tallahassee area competed Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, in a team bowling tournament at Capital Lanes in Tallahassee. The tournament featured boys and girls team competition, with each team bowling two games before the final standings were determined.
Team Results
On the boys side, Lincoln A finished at the top of the standings with a two-game total of 2,091 pins, bowling 1,037 in the first game and 1,054 in the second. Rickards A finished second with 1,758, while Chiles A placed third with 1,650. Lincoln B finished fourth with 1,369 pins, followed by Leon A with 1,286 and Chiles B with 1,270. Rickards B finished seventh with 1,232, while Lincoln C, Godby A and Leon B rounded out the boys team standings with totals of 922, 825 and 342, respectively.
In the girls competition, Rickards A finished first with 1,380 pins, including a 652 in Game 1 and 728 in Game 2. Lincoln A was second with 1,340, followed by Lincoln B with 1,099. Rickards B finished fourth at 1,046, while Lincoln C, Rickards C, Godby A and Chiles A posted totals of 762, 758, 591 and 476, respectively.
After the qualifying competition on the boys side, Lincoln’s A team took on Rickards A in Baker and won 2-0. On the girls side Rickards A took on Lincoln’s A and won 1-0.
Individual Results
During the team qualifying rounds, Lincoln’s Dylan Fell led the boys individual standings with a two-game total of 493, rolling games of 254 and 239. He was followed by Chiles’ Nathan Smith with 442 and Rickards’ John Nance with 441. Rickards’ Dylan Gillilan finished with 425, while Lincoln’s Hunter Mortham totaled 420. Lincoln also placed three more bowlers in the top 10, with Devin Mortham recording 408, Kale Hurd finishing with 406 and Caleb Moore totaling 364. Chiles’ David Potampa finished with 374, while Rickards’ Michael Gallon had 350.
On the girls side, Rickards’ Grace Lee led the individual standings with 369, followed by Lincoln’s Christine Lastinger with 347 and Rickards’ Kaylee Jeon with 335. Chiles’ Kendall Kessinger finished with 279, while Lincoln’s Medha Shanbhag totaled 260. Lincoln had five additional bowlers in the top 10, including Brooklyn Rodgers with 257, Lexi Newton with 247 and Ella Webb with 234. Lincoln’s Bella McCoy and Rickards’ Ria Aggarwal each finished with 237.
