Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county decreased 10.8% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 334 single-family home resales in July 2018 and 298 resales in July 2019. Last month there were 366 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in July 2019 increased 6.3% to $264,039 from $248,346 one year ago.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales decreased to an annual rate of 2,985 in July, down from the 3,021 reported last month. The annual rate of sales is now 6.2% below the annual rate of 3,182 reported a year ago.

And they are building houses all over town why? I thought the justification for all this building was lack of available pre-existing homes?
The mayor is making (illegal) TV commercials, Commissioner Curtis Rain Cloud is in denial, other officials are attending the Buffalo pool party in Amelia Island on the taxpayers dime, the school superintendent is throwing people under the bus, many officials are probably under FBI investigation, commissioner Lindley is obsessed with straws (and the Buffalo pool party), and the Chamber of Commerce is laughing all the way to the bank. Dysfunction Junction is correct!
