Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were down 33.4% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 344 single-family home resales in May 2019 and 229 resales in May 2020. Last month there were 268 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in May 2020 increased 1.0% from $264,543 to $267,189 one year ago.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,153 in May. The May annual rate of sales is 3.1% above the annual rate of 3,025 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last months was 3,268.
