Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were up 9.9% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 284 single-family home resales in December 2019 and 312 resales in December 2020. Last month there were 265 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in December 2020 increased 7.1% from $270,409 last year to $289,656.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,301 in December. The December annual rate of sales is 0.7% above the annual rate of 3,279 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last month was 3,273.
The average price of homes sold over the last twelve months in Leon county was $288,118. This is 8.7% above the $265,170 sales price reported one year ago.
