We salute are people in blue and green and the rank-and-file! They deserve more support and more pay and definitely more respect. I appreciate them so much!
This is why they need the best leadership possible such as a nationwide search for a city manager and a sheriff who doesn’t dole out taxpayer dollars to his campaign manager. A mayor who is not continuously doing PR stunts and County leadership that has oversight over the sheriff. Our men and women in blue and green deserve more.
You should have included Leon counties pathetic clearance rate of ~19%… by my quick review it appears we would be about 4th lowest in the state.
Murder up 38%, but hey look!!!!! Art Center for the connected!!!!
Thank you to all our law enforcement for their hard work. Please keep communicating and teaching us how to make our neighborhoods better and safer.
Crimes plaguing cities amid “defund police” push in Democrats havens nationwide including Leon county. BLM, A farce! Black lives NEVER mattered look at HISTORY! BLM only in times of Democrat votes but not for long – the “flip flop” will be to replace with Illegal immigrants Lives Matter, 2 million plus from the South of the Border. In 90 days let’s see if Democrats have run out of
Lip service to rectified THEIR problems of huge surges of crimes plaguing in their backyard.
they are lying…
20% down means still 9000 offenses! Not good enough and not the polices fault.
A declining “arrest rate” does not equate to a declining crime rate.
When you have a sheriff who gives Leon County tax money to his campaign manager it shows where his focus is… Himself!
Make sure these agencies aren’t bundling numerous property crimes under one case number to show a decrease!
We need to take a tougher stance on Crime and Criminals. Harsher Penalties need to be given to Repeat & Violent Offenders. Harsher Penalties need to be given to Criminals who use ANY kind of Weapon.
