On Tuesday March 21, the Leon County Commission will receive a Lake Munson status report and approving an extension of the Lake Munson drawdown through the Spring of 2024.
Tallahassee Police responded to the 2800 of South Adams Street Sunday night. TPD was informed of an argument between several men that led to a physical fight and subsequently one of the men getting shot as they were leaving the scene. The gunshot wound ended up being a non-life-threatening wound. No arrest has yet been made and the incident remains an open and active investigation.

Florida Supreme Court Justice Ricky Polston announced his 15-year tenure is coming to an end at the end of this month with his resignation. Charlie Christ appointed Polston as the court’s 83rd justice in 2008, and Polston served as chief justice from 2012 to 2014.
A bill that would ban abortion after the sixth week of pregnancy in Florida passed the Florida Senate’s Health Policy committee. This bill would provide exceptions to mothers who were victims of rape or incest up to 15 weeks.
Florida State Sen. Jason Brodeur is putting forward legislation that would require local governments to provide a 10-year planning deadline for any development of more than 50 residential lots and more than one septic tank per acre in order to endure algal blooms are limited from septic tank and wastewater treatment runoffs.
Another bill is set to make it to the floor of the Florida House. HB 387 would allow doctors to recertify medical marijuana prescriptions through telehealth. The bill would make easier the renewal process for approximately 800,000 medical marijuana patients in Florida.

Hmmmm, Now the question is, If caught, will Jack Campbell charge the guy with Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon or just Assault? It should be Attempted Murder but I know that wont happen.
