It’s that time of year when state government offices decide out how much money they’ll request from the Legislature. Leon County’s legislative delegation recently heard from Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell and Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil about local crime-fighting needs.

  1. Biden’s administration still refuses to freeze billions for Iran.
Harvard students (known as politically left) are siding with Hamas.
Many politically left news media are giving moral equivalency to Hamas and Israel.
The so-called Squad in D.C. are hostile to Israel at every turn.
And Senator Berman is basically just piggybacking on legislation already passed by Republicans.

I don’t know why any Jewish people vote for Democrats.

  2. Why does Ben Crump only defend black people? I have never ever seen him. defending anyone else. Shouldn’t he be held accountable for not representing an equal amount of whites/ Hispanics/ Asians? Rules for thee but not for me. And he ties his defendants to some government entity in order to placate a hefty settlement paid for by taxpayers. What is wrong with this picture?

  3. They kind of did kill Jesus… but we’re Christians, we forgave them for that a long time ago.

The answer to speech you don’t like is more speech. Not locking someone up for a “hate crime”, because all crime is hateful. Lori Berman is acting like a Democrat.

    I suspect Ben Crump’s defense will be: She’s black…

  4. There has been so many articles over the last several Elections about Voter Fraud and WHO is ALLOWED to Vote and who IS NOT allowed to to Vote, how could anyone NOT KNOW?

Looks like Steve Cortes should NEVER have had that Job and NO ONE should even consider him again if he is that ready to “Cut Bait and RUN” when the times get tough. This is where you “Buckle Up and work HARDER”.

Where Law Enforcement needs help is in the D.A.’s Office and tougher Judges. For Example, I read this today: “In Connecticut, Suzanne Laprise was arrested and charged with attempted murder after she allegedly fired multiple shots into the bulletproof glass of a police department.” We NEED a DA that will do that here. If she was here in Tallahassee, she’d probably just be charged with Misuse of a Firearm while Trespassing. HERE, a Guy at a Party on Pensacola Street Parking Lot got into an argument, walked away to his Car, came back with a Gun, fired that Gun several times INTO A CROWD or People and was only charged with “Assault with a Deadly Weapon”. He should have been charged with several counts of “Attempted MURDER”.

In law, ignorantia juris non excusat (Latin for “ignorance of the law excuses not”), or ignorantia legis neminem excusat (“ignorance of law excuses no one”), is a legal principle holding that a person who is unaware of a law may not escape liability for violating that law merely by being unaware of its content.

If Bubba Crump prevails, we’ll, I did know I had to pay taxes.
