Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo along with other lawmakers unveiled the senate’s “Live Healthy” policy proposal targeting many of the major healthcare issues that Florida is facing. “Live Healthy will expand Florida’s healthcare workforce with new opportunities for education, training and retention,” Passidomo said.
Gov. Ron DeSantis says he’d do whatever it takes to rescue the eight American hostages held by Hamas. That includes potentially sending U.S. troops to Israel, in the event he became President. “You do what you need to do, based on the circumstances to be able to get them home. But as Commander-in-Chief, there’s going to be plans, there’s going to be options and you have to vet that,” DeSantis said.
Veteran Republican strategist Phil Cox is joining Never Back Down, a super PAC supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid, as the PAC looks to regroup following a series of leadership changes. Cox will be senior adviser to the group.

@John — the healthcare system suffers from the same problem as so many other programs in this country, that is too much “free money”. My grandmother went into the hospital with terminal cancer on June 1, 1963. She didn’t leave the hospital alive and passed away on Aug 1, 1963. The hospital bill, hand written on a pad similar to what a restaurant uses, was for less than $1,000. 61 nights in the hospital and the bill was under a grand.
$1,000 won’t cover the cost of you spending an hour in the emergency room today. Now, we have all this free money in the system and nobody can afford their own health care.
One of the major Healthcare Issues many Floridians face is NO Health Insurance…
We can have the best Medical System in the World but it doesn’t help Floridians if they can’t afford or easily access it…
Healthy Floridians DOES NOT equal GREAT Healthcare for all regardless of income level, race, gender, age, etc.
