President Joe Biden yesterday proposed a set of changes to the US Supreme Court, including creating an enforceable code of conduct and setting term limits for justices—a departure from the current lifetime tenure. Capping each justice’s term to 18 years could reduce the chances of a single president shaping the country’s highest court, according to Biden.
The outgoing president also proposed an amendment to the US Constitution that would overturn the Supreme Court’s recent decision giving former President Donald Trump some immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken while in office. Two-thirds of the House and Senate must propose constitutional amendments, which three-quarters of state legislatures must then ratify. The proposal is unlikely to be enacted.
Separately, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows asked the Supreme Court yesterday to intervene in his criminal election interference case in Fulton County, Georgia. Meadows cited the court’s Trump immunity ruling as part of his request.

Biden learned of the proposal when his handlers told him, “here, read this”.
This is designed to get rid of conservatives Thomas, Roberts and Alito. The first two are way over 18 years; Alito will be right at 18 years in 2 months.

I actually think that Biden may be pulling a McCain with this ridiculous move. If you’ll remember, John McCain wanted Joe Leiberman as his VP, and I think that may have been a winning ticket by the way. But the Republican Party gurus forced Sarah Palin on him. McCain’s drive and desire completely collapsed at that point… and I believe he – perhaps subconsciously – tanked the campaign at that point and lost the election.
Biden did not want to exit the race, and contrary to his rhetoric, he knows Harris is a dingbat. The Party of “saving democracy” tossed democracy into the trash, executed a coup on him, dismissed their own voters, and installed their new puppet. Biden knows this nonsense is widely rejected, will not come to pass, and will likely hurt the Democrat ticket.

The only change should be Term Limits, 12 Years for the Judges. The State House, State Senate and Congress should also have Term Limits as well, total of 12 Years but with one addition, they can’t do a full 12 Year Term in one and then do another full 12 Term Term in the other, the Term Limit is a Combined Total in Office of 12 Years, unless they become VP or run for President.
