Chiles Timberwolves Lead in Latest High School Volleyball Rankings

The latest Leon County Maxprep volleyball rankings have the Chiles Timberwolves in the top position followed by Florida High.

The table below is a ranking of the 10 Leon County high schools that have indoor volleyball teams based on current record, overall rating and strength of schedule as tabulated by MaxPreps. The stats used in this edition of high school volleyball rankings were updated on MaxPreps through 9/9/2024.

Chiles

After beating Middleburg in a 4-set match last week, the Timberwolves remain first in the Leon County volleyball rankings and are set to play district rival Leon on 9/10. Leon is ranked 4^th in the Leon County volleyball rankings and have a notable win against Middleburg on September 7^th. Chiles has also been dealing with the absence of starting outside hitter Lindsey Smith due to Injury.

FSUHS

FSUHS stays at second in the Leon County volleyball rankings following a 3-set win against Grace Christian Academy. With the win they move to 7-3 and play their first Leon County school in Rickards at home on 9/11. Florida High will have multiple chances to improve their ranking with important games with Leon and South Walton later in the season.

Maclay

Entering the top 3 this week for the first time this season are the Maclay Marauders who have a record of 5-2 coming off a 3-set win against North Florida Christian last week. This week Maclay travels to Bristol, FL to play the Liberty County Bulldogs on 9/10. Leon is looking to give Liberty their first loss of the season as the Bulldogs try to improve to 8-0.
