The following players are being recognized by Tallahassee Reports based on their stats, provided by MaxPreps, for their performance for the week ending on 10/13.
Gavin Ford
St. John Paul II Quarterback Gavin Ford (Jr.) led his team to a win against Maclay on 10/11 beating the Marauders 40-30. Ford threw for a career high of 323 yards on 16 completions out of 25 attempts. He also threw for 4 touchdowns, only 1 interception and had a long of 67 yards. His favorite targets of the night were wide receivers Ethan Braun (Sr.) and Caden Collier (Sr.). Ford finished the game with an impressive QB rating of 130.4.
Chauncey Warren
Middle linebacker Chauncey Warren (Sr.) is being recognized for his defensive efforts in Lincoln’s last game against Chiles on 10/11. The Trojan defense held the Timberwolves to only 3 points and only 156 all-purpose yards. Warren led the team in solo tackles and total tackles with 7 and 9 respectively. With this effort, Warren set a new personal career high of 9 total tackles for a single game.
Jamarin Simmons
Godby Wide receiver Jamarin Simmons (So.) had an impressive performance against Wakulla on 10/11 while leading the team with 139 yards on 7 catches and 2 touchdowns. His two touchdown receptions in one game marks a career high for Simmons. After this game, Simmons improves his total yards on the season to 654 and total touchdown catches to 6.
