At the September 3rd city commission meeting, Tallahassee Police Department officials will present the school speed zone enforcement annual report. See the numbers.

Another candidate has entered the race for Tallahassee City Commission Seat 3. Local political consultant and lobbyist Max Herrle has filed to run. 

Travis Gibson was found guilty of kidnapping and attempted sexual battery related to a 2021 incident on FSU campus.

FLORIDA NEWS

The number of first-time unemployment claims in Florida remained steady last week, with an estimated 5,968 applications filed. The estimate, released Thursday by the U.S. Department of Labor, was a slight decrease from the revised count of 6,143 for the week that ended Aug. 16.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams has refused to pause her order requiring state and federal officials to wind down operations at an immigrant-detention center in the Everglades, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The 2025 college football season kicks into full swing this weekend, featuring three games between top 10 teams—the most such matchups this early in a season in the sport’s history.

    It seems that Tallahassee taxpayers/voters have a decision to make. Do you want Tallahassee to become a dysfunctional sanctuary city and a bastion of destructive progressive policies like LA, San Fran, Chicago, New York City, et al... or do you want rational policies, common sense, compromise, and improved quality of life for all?

    Time and Voters will tell.
