Despite a 2025 decline in overall crime incidents, over the last four months of 2025 violent crime incidents related to assaults were up 55.8% when compared to the same period in 2024. Get the details.

A young man is hospitalized with injuries after a shooting outside of the Wilson Green neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. LCSO said the shooting happened near the south Tallahassee neighborhood, and “then traveled to the Ridge Haven area.” Read more.
