Leon County Girls Soccer Stat Leaders

With the Leon County high school soccer regular season nearing the end, Tallahassee Reports is highlighting the top three stat leaders, using MaxPreps stats updated through Jan. 15. The stats will be based on a point system used my MaxPreps which counts goals as two points and assists as one point. Note that not all Leon County teams have updated stats and will not be included the article.

Gabrielle Juene, Florida High

Florida High Sophomore Gabrielle Juene leads the Seminoles with 42 points so far this season with 18 goals and six assists through 10 matches. Florida High is currently 11-3 and ranked 73rd in the the state by MaxPreps. Juene scored a season high of five goals against Suwannee (7-8-2) in her best performance so far this year on Dec. 4. The Seminoles’ next matchup is an away game against P.K. Yonge (8-3-2) on Jan. 15.

Taylor Alkire, Florida High

Florida High Sophomore Taylor Alkire has 20 points with 9 goals and 2 assists through 13 matches. Alkire’s most notable performance was against Suwannee where she had a season high of three goals. Alkire looks to help her team finish the season off strong as they have two games left against P.K. Yonge and Lincoln (4-9-3).

Jada Bartusek, Chiles

Chiles Senior Jada Bartusek leads a very successful Chiles team with 18 points while having 6 goals and 6 assists through 12 matches. Bartusek’s most notable performance was against Columbia (7-8-2) where she had two goals and one assist in a 6-0 win against the Tigers. The Timberwolves are currently 9-3-1 and are ranked 26th in the state. Chiles played their last game of the regular season on Jan. 15th where they lost to Niceville (12-1-1) with a score of 4-1.
