Lincoln Boys Basketball Suffer First Loss of the Season

After an 18 game win streak, the Lincoln boys basketball team lost their first game of the regular season in an away game against Crossroad Academy with a final score of 54-47.

This marks the second regular-season meeting between Lincoln and Crossroad Academy, after the Trojans edged out a 58–55 win in the first matchup in Tallahassee.

With three games remaining in regular schedule, Lincoln has a chance to go 21-1 with contests against three teams that they have played and beaten earlier in the season. Lincoln plays an away game against Rickards on Jan. 21. In their last meeting Lincoln beat Rickards with a score of 54-46 with three players scoring more than 10 points each.

Lincolns leading scorers for the season include Malakhi Lowe (Sr.) averaging 10.4 points a game, London Dougherty (Jr.) averaging 9.9 points a game and Kyel Chambliss (Jr.) averaging 8.3 points a game.
