FSU to Host Healthcare Summit

FSU to Host Healthcare Summit

Florida State University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Business will host the 2026 Business of Healthcare Summit on Wednesday, February 11.

An extension of FSU Health – the university’s initiative to study, reshape and deliver healthcare in Florida—the summit brings industry partners together with the Wertheim College of Business, FSU Health (fsuhealth.fsu.edu), and a broad network of faculty, students and alumni to address shared challenges and identify innovative solutions.

Building on the success of previous summits, the release notes that “the 2026 event will feature thought-provoking discussions with industry leaders on the most pressing issues impacting healthcare in Florida and across the nation.”

The program draws an audience that includes executives, practitioners, policymakers, economic development professionals and academic researchers. Expert panelists will share critical insights on healthcare operations– from finance, public policy and technology to essential workforce issues affecting both labor and patients– often to standing-room-only crowds. The event also serves to introduce FSU students to the wide range of career opportunities in healthcare.
