Steve Stewart discusses LCS response to student demonstrations related to ICE.
A man was shot Friday night, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. LCSO reported the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the 5400 block of Touraine Drive. LCSO said they identified a suspect.

U.S. Reps. Maxwell Frost and Darren Soto sent a letter to DHS and ICE leaders opposing a potential ICE detention center in Orlando amid growing speculation it will open.

The state announced it spent $6.01 million to place nearly 1,400 acres of agricultural land in Hardee County under conservation easements to block residential and commercial development.
