Maclay Hosts Lincoln, Rickards in High School Swim Meet

The Maclay School swim teams turned in dominant performances Wednesday, sweeping the girls, boys and combined team standings against Lincoln High School and Rickards High School.

The meet, held Sept. 2 at Maclay, saw the Marauders finish comfortably ahead of both opponents in all three team competitions.

Maclay’s girls finished first with 529 points, well ahead of Lincoln’s 184 and Rickards’ 89. The Marauders’ 345-point margin over Lincoln highlighted the strength of their performance across the girls’ events.

The boys’ competition followed a similar pattern. Maclay scored 597 points to take first place, while Lincoln finished second with 299 and Rickards scored 95. Maclay’s 298-point advantage over Lincoln gave the Marauders another decisive team victory.

When the boys and girls scores were combined, Maclay finished with 1,126 points to lead the overall standings. Lincoln placed second with 483 points, while Rickards finished third with 184.

Maclay’s combined score gave the Marauders a 643-point advantage over Lincoln and a 942-point margin over Rickards.
