Keith Lawson Services is accepting nominations through November 9 for a program that will provide a free heating and cooling system to a homeowner in North Florida or South Georgia.
The Tallahassee-based company announced its “KLS Gives Back” initiative to assist a homeowner facing financial hardship and the expense of replacing an HVAC system.
“Replacing an air conditioning and heating system can be a difficult expense for a family already trying to make ends meet,” said Keith Lawson II of Keith Lawson Services. “We work in our neighbors’ homes every day, and we want to help take that worry off one family’s shoulders.”
Eligible homeowners must reside in Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson or Wakulla counties in Florida, or Thomas, Grady or Decatur counties in Georgia.
Residents, churches, neighborhood associations and community organizations can submit nominations explaining why a homeowner needs assistance.
Company representatives will review the submissions and select three finalists for home visits. The recipient will be chosen based on the merits of the nomination and whether the home can accommodate the available equipment.
The giveaway includes a new HVAC unit ranging from 1.5 to 5 tons, along with the company’s standard installation warranty.
The recipient is expected to be announced during Thanksgiving week, with installation scheduled afterward.
Nominees must own their homes, authorize installation and agree to an inspection. The selected homeowner must also consent to photographs and videos of the installation for promotional purposes.
Founded in 1980, Keith Lawson Services is a family-owned business providing heating, cooling and plumbing services throughout North Florida and South Georgia.
There is no purchase necessary to participate.
Nominations can be submitted through November 9 at www.keithlawson.com/giveaway, where complete eligibility requirements are available.
