I have heard that, also. If this is true, crime could be increasing or even be doubling or tripling.
It is important to the public safety for the community that the public receives accurate numbers.
If they can manipulate this and be deceitful about this they can be deceitful about something else or everything else at the Public’s expense.
Steve, you may need to put a check on those TPD crime stats. Word is DeLeo is only reporting some of the burglaries as one, even though it happens to different individuals. Come on Chief, several burglaries equals several reports, not one report with several victims just to fix the stats. Titch, titch, titch….shame, shame.
