Weekly Crime Tracker: August 22nd-28th

Information provided by the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) shows that there were 15 violent incidents and 76 property incidents reported for the week of August 22nd – 28th.

A regional breakdown of the incidents – based on TPD defined quadrants – shows that the Northwest section of Tallahassee led the week with 6 violent incidents and 31 property incidents.

During this period, city-wide, there were:

  • 33 Auto-Burglaries
  • 22 Auto Thefts
  • 17 Residential Burglaries
  • 3 Commercial Burglaries
  • 5 Aggravated Assault & Batteries
  • 2 Death Investigations
  • 3 Armed Robberies
  • 5 Sexual Batteries

TPD Quadrants

TPD reports the location of crime incidents based on “Beat Boundaries” and “Quadrants. The four quadrants are Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. The “Beats” included in each quadrants are shown below.
