Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county increased 22.5% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 271 single-family home resales in August 2018 and 332 resales in August 2019. Last month there were 298 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in August 2019 decreased 2.9% to $266,323 from $274,159 one year ago.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales increased to an annual rate of 3,046 in August, up from the 2,985 reported last month. The annual rate of sales is now 2.8% below the annual rate of 3,135 reported a year ago.
