Information provided by the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) shows that there were a 102 incidents reported during the week of October 3rd-9th. The data indicates there 85 property incidents and 17 violent incidents.
A regional breakdown of the incidents – based on TPD defined quadrants – shows that the Northwest quadrant of Tallahassee led the week with 38 property incidents and the Southwest quadrant led the week with 7 violent incidents.

TPD Quadrants
TPD reports the location of crime incidents based on “Beat Boundaries” and “Quadrants. The four quadrants are Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. The “Beats” included in each quadrants are shown below.
This does not square with TOPS which shows 16 battery calls just last night for example. Why?
