Leon County announced the addition of two concerts scheduled for February at the Capital City Amphitheater at Cascades Park. Organized by the County’s Division of Tourism (Visit Tallahassee), the performances include classic-rocker Dennis DeYoung Thursday, Feb. 20, and the iconic rhythm and blues group Boyz II Men Saturday, Feb. 29. Tickets went on sale for both shows, Friday, Nov. 8, at noon EST.
Dennis DeYoung, a founding member of STYX, is a legendary singer, songwriter, keyboardist, composer and record producer with a career spanning over 40 years. His voice is one of the most recognizable in the music world and continues to inspire new generations of fans. The show features an evening with the artist celebrating the release of the 1977 STYX album The Grand Illusion and includes hits such as “Come Sail Away,” “Best of Times” and “Fooling Yourself.”
Boyz II Men redefined popular rhythm and blues and continue to create timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations. Throughout their 25-year career, Boyz II Men have won over four Grammy Awards, multiple American Music Awards, Soul Train Awards, Billboard Awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Boyz II Men’s hits include “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “One Sweet Day,” “Motownphilly” and many more.
