Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county increased 19.0% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 211 single-family home resales in October 2018 and 251 resales in October 2019. Last month there were 284 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in October 2019 increased 11.8% to $273,830 from $244,967 one year ago.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales increased to an annual rate of 3,160 in October, up from the 3,120 reported last month. The annual rate of sales is 1.0% above the annual rate of 3,128 reported a year ago.
