Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were up 10.6% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 284 single-family home resales in September 2019 and 314 resales in September 2020. Last month there were 307 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in August 2020 increased 19.6% from $265,582 last year to $317,735.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,162 in September. The August annual rate of sales is 1.3% above the annual rate of 3,120 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last month was 3,132.
