TR’s Weekly Crime Tracker: October 26th-November 1st

Information provided by the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) shows there were 88 incidents reported during the week of October 26 – November 1, 2020. The data indicates there were 58 property incidents and 30 violent incidents. Last week there were 42 property and 24 violent incidents.

A regional breakdown of the incidents – based on TPD defined quadrants – shows the Northwest quadrant of Tallahassee led the week with 24 property incidents and 11 violent incidents.

During the week (this list does not include all incidents), there were:

• 27 Auto Burglaries,
• 15 Residential Burglaries,
• 13 Aggravated Assaults,
• 11 Auto Thefts,
• 5 Aggravated Batteries,
• 5 Commercial Burglaries,
• 4 Sexual Batteries,
• 3 Death Investigations,
• 2 Strongarm Robberies,
• 1 Bomb Threat,
• 1 Armed Robbery and
• 1 Battery.

TPD Quadrants

TPD reports the location of crime incidents based on “Beat Boundaries” and “Quadrants.” The four quadrants are Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. The “Beats” included in each quadrant is shown below.
