Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were up 48.4% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 157 single-family home resales in January 2020 and 233 resales in January 2021. Last month there were 312 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in January 2020 increased 7.5% from $264,336 last year to $284,045.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,377 in January, 2021. The January 2021 annual rate of sales is 2.3% above the annual rate of 3,300 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last month was 3,301.
The average price of homes sold over the last twelve months in Leon county was $288,942. This is 8.6% above the $266,178 sales price reported one year ago.
