The weekly COVID report, ending February 28th, shows decreases in new cases and the positivity rate and an increase in hospitalizations.
Since the middle to the end of January 2021, the charts below show the significant downward trend in the three indicators.
The Numbers
The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID cases moved from 86 cases on February 21st to 68 cases on February 28th, a 20.9% decrease.
The Leon County 7-day average (yellow-line) of reported COVID hospitalizations changed from 32 on February 21st to 44 reported on February 28th, a 37.5% increase.
The Leon County 7-day average (yellow line) COVID positivity rate changed from 4.9% on February 21st to 3.8% on February 28th, a 22.4% decrease.
