Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county were up 7.3% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 218 single-family home resales in February 2020 and 234 resales in February 2021. Last month there were 233 existing single-family homes sold.
The average sales price in February 2021 increased 7.3% from $290,483 last year to $305,531.
Annual trends show that single-family home sales came in at an annual rate of 3,393 in February, 2021. The February 2021 annual rate of sales is 2.3% above the annual rate of 3,317 reported one year ago. The annual rate of sales last month was 3,377.
The average price of homes sold over the last twelve months in Leon county was $289,988. This is 8.4% above the $267,415 sales price reported one year ago.
