A man was shot inside his apartment building on Monday night. Tallahassee Police responded to the 2400 block of Jackson Bluff Road at an apartment complex and found a gunshot victim with non-life-threatening injuries. No suspects have yet been named.
After a man was struck by a car and subsequently died near Lively Technical College in October, no criminal charges are expected to be filed. TPD is now considering the case closed after an investigation.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he is planning to petition the Supreme Court to convene a grand jury to investigate “wrongdoings” regarding the COVID shots. DeSantis noted that some pharmaceutical companies haven’t provided their data to independent researchers. “We’ll be able to get the data whether they want to give it or not,” DeSantis said. “In Florida, it is illegal to mislead and misrepresent, especially when you are talking about the efficacy of a drug.”
Florida’s Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier said they his prediction is that Florida’s insurance premiums would likely not go down so soon. According to his assessment of the effort to mitigate the insurance crisis by Florida lawmakers during the Special Session, said “this will take some time” but that eventually the legislation “will go a long way in mitigating the rate increases.”
Florida Sen. Rick Scott said the Internal Revenue Service’s 87,000 new agents are going to be monitoring personal retail transactions. “The same people that want to defund the police are adding 87,000 armed IRS agents to crack down on American families and small businesses. Democrats have made their radical priorities crystal clear,” stated Scott after it was announced the new hires will have to become proficient with a firearm and “use deadly force, if necessary.”

Matthew Cleveland earned his fourth career double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds on seven made field goals. The Noles’ next game is in the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise, FL to take on St. John’s on December 17th.

And this coming from the man who insisted that his voters in The Villages got their shots before even the health care workers back when they first were made available.
Steven Colbert had a good time tonight playing all the clips of DeSantis talking about how great the vaccines were over the past year. And now DeSantis tries to trash public health to score a few more anti-vaxxer votes.
The Republicans are at an all-time low, and yet, they keep digging.
You should see all the developer and Chamber cronies they put on local boards. Almost always Dailey donors. Talk about bias!
