On Friday Feb. 3, the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) arrested three people following a shooting that occurred on May 21, 2022, in the 2400 block of Wintergreen Road.
The TPD arrested Jer’Darrius Davis, 23; Jaheim Nixon, 21; and Edward Johnson, 18,
Following an investigation by TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit, it was determined the three arrestees arranged to meet the victim, an adult male, to purchase a firearm that was being sold via social media. The arrestees arrived at the residence and intended to rob the victim. As the victim handed over the firearm, one of the arrestees produced a firearm and began shooting. A second arrestee also fired multiple shots. The victim sadly succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The subsequent investigation collected physical evidence and witness statements that helped detectives identify the suspects and develop probable cause for the arrests.
Why can’t it be reported, “…three black males…two had violent crime records…”? Jerdarrious, was a known gang member on probation for murder. He spent 2 months in jail then put on parole. That is why we live in a country with violent black crime. Black youth know crime has very little consequence.
