January Airport Traffic Up 11.9%

The latest information from the Tallahassee International Airport shows that January 2023 passenger traffic increased 11.9% when compared to traffic one year ago. The number of passengers was up 6,542 from the 54,889 reported during January 2022 to 61,431 in January 2023.

Relative to 2022, the Passenger Traffic Report shows passenger counts were up 9.3% for American Airlines, the Delta Group was up 9.3% and Silver Airways was up 86.5%.

The graph below shows the annualized number of passengers for the last 37-months. The highlighted numbers on the graph indicate the annual traffic during the month of March over the last four years.

The annual rate of passengers at TIA in January 2023 was 826,685 up 0.81% when compared to the annual rate reported last month and up 20.8% when compared to one year ago. The annualized number of passengers is calculated by summing the previous 12 months of traffic.
