Snidely @ Snidely:
Hold the phone Son, we just got Snidely’s power back on. I would like to take this moment to thank everyone for allowing me to 8itch it into existance and as I was saying I love our hard working line-men and our consumate profesionals that over see the management and operations of our most fine and wonderfull City of Tallahassee!
A big crime occured today on Hurricane Day.
The Mayor and The City Manager let the linemen stay home when they could have should have been out in force restoring the voters electricity.
Tallahassee got lucky for the glancing blow with very little trees down and related storm damage to the infrastructure. BUT lots of us voters are still without our sweet air conditioning, our food in our refigerators has gone bad, gone to is what was in our deep freezers too.
I am not happy with Daily and Goad’s improper decision to let their linemen stay home and get drunk all day. Shoulda had them boys locked up in The Rennisance Building over-night and out on their trucks no later than 11:45A.M.
I just drove around town. Guess how many linemen were working???
ZERO
@Pat A
Truer words were never spoken.
I would say, actually fighting crime clashes with the political goals of the local elected officials, Sheriff and Police Chief. Do you want to fight crime, or do you want the Black Vote because you cannot have both.
The leftists in charge of policy around here have turned our fair city into a hot mess of violent crime and outright hatred of one’s neighbors.
The criminal activity exhibited by the city commission over the last decade, which has largely gone unpunished, has served as an example of how well crime pays. So, it follows that the people who are being led by the city commission pick up the criminal mantle of success they can see is working so well for the leadership. They just aren’t as sophisticated in their own criminality, so it manifests itself in out-of-control violence.
Nothing is going to change without tough, honest, forthright leadership. And there is no indication that is ever going to happen. Buckle up buttercups.
