April Airport Passenger Traffic Up 15.9%

The latest information from the Tallahassee International Airport shows the April 2024 passenger traffic increased 15.9% when compared to traffic one year ago. The number of passengers were up 10,939 from the 68,624 reported during April 2023 to 79,563 in April 2024.

The calendar year-to-date comparison, January through April, shows passenger traffic is up 15.5% in 2024 when compared to 2023.

Relative to 2023, the Passenger Traffic Report shows passenger counts were up 10.7% for American Airlines, up 4.1% for the Delta Group and up 5.7% for Silver Airways. New service provider Jet Blue added 5,764 passengers in April 2024.

The graph below shows the annualized number of passengers for the last 37-months. The highlighted numbers on the graph indicate the annual traffic during the month of February over the last four years.

The annual rate of passengers at TIA in April 2024 – 895,911 – is up 9.0% when compared to one year ago. The annualized number of passengers is calculated by summing the previous 12 months of traffic.

    First time I flew was October 1981. Last time I flew was November 1981. I wasn't that thrilled about it then and I don't think I will be now.
