The report stated that on Thursday June 6, 2024, “while performing a routine inspection, City crews discovered a break in a 6? PVC force main near Pump Station 97 by 591 Maclay Road. Staff immediately shut down the station, stopping the overflow. Crews repaired the force main and placed it back in service. Staff reviewing SCADA data estimates 230,000 gallons as an estimate of released volume. Approximately 2500 gallons were recovered. Impacted soils have been cleaned, disinfected, and deodorized.
