The local progressive element of the Democrat party has targeted Laurie Cox on social media labeling her extreme and associating her with the Moms for Liberty group. However, Jeremy Rogers’ attack on Laurie Cox fell flat in a recent political forum.

Chiles head baseball coach, Corey Pye, is leaving the program after two seasons, taking a job with the Firefighters, a semi-pro baseball team with the Savannah Bananas organizations. He will be the team’s pitching coach.

After the issue was tucked into a wide-ranging energy bill approved by Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Legislature, state regulators in the coming months will study the feasibility of adding more nuclear power.

Florida gas prices surged by 18 cents per gallon in the final days leading up to Independence Day, reaching an average of $3.53 per gallon on July 4. This price hike is a significant increase compared to the same day last year, when drivers paid an average of $3.26 per gallon. However, it is still considerably lower than the average price of $4.54 per gallon seen in 2022.

The state’s Citizens Property Insurance Corp. continued to add policies last week and topped a total of 1.215 million.

  1. The new GATE Gas Station in Crawfordville at Songbird is crazy. 5 Days ago they were at $3.49.9, two days ago they were at $3.29.9 and Yesterday they were at $3.59.9. All while the Walmart Station a Mile away has been $3.28.9 the whole time.
