City Commissioner Curtis Richardson and challenger Dot Inman-Johnson are headed to a November runoff.
Inman-Johnson tallied 46.67% of Tuesday’s primary vote (15,766) followed by Richardson with 43.57% (14,718). Donna Nyack finished with 5.63% and Bernard Stevens received 4.14% of the vote.
There were 33,784 votes cast in the race.
Unofficial numbers show that Richardson was able to secure 50% of the vote in the Northeast and Southside districts, but those margins were not enough to surpass the votes cast in the Midtown and Southeast districts in favor of Inman-Johnson.
TR will have more information on the voting details related to this race later today.
Sadly no one to vote for in that race. An incumbent, a socialist, and two place holders. Give me someone to vote for and earn it.
@ Beppo the Clown… You clearly know very little about politics and political strategies. But I’m sure you’ll collect your troll check anyway. Disreputable opinions are the lifeblood of you trolls.
They both were implanted to take from Richardson so they could push Do(n)t Johnson to the General and exploit the malleable minions using propaganda on the issues of murdering innocent babies at-will as a means of birth control… and weed.
Back to class… skippy
@Edward, Nyack took from Richardson and Stevens took from Dot. You should really examine political platforms before posting disreputable opinions.
Nyack and Stevens took votes away from Commissioner Richardson, or he would have surpassed the 50+1 criteria, and this would be over… a strategy by design mind you.
Now you see the game that was/is played by the devious Anti-Democracy, Antisemitic, Radical Pro-Hamas Progressive Caucus of the Democrat Party.
Never forget… you did this to yourselves, Tallahassee.
Curtis Richardson’s problem is he’s been there too long. Like bad food in the fridge Richardson is not going to taste or smell better after 3 more months.
