Jayden Threatts
FSUHS running back Jayden Threatts (Sr.) had a notable performance against Chiles leading his team in touchdowns and rushing yards. Threatts had 80 yards on 10 carries with 3 touchdowns and a run of 44 yards. This was Threatts first game played this year and he did not disappoint with posting a career high of 3 rushing touchdowns in a single game. Threatts hopes to continue this trend as FSUHS hosts Gadsen County on 10/11.
Kason Clark
Godby played district rival Baker County on 10/3 and running back Kason Clark (Sr.) had a notable performance helping his team to a 39-34 win. This was a tight game with Godby scoring 22 points in the 4th quarter to seal the victory. Kason Clark contributed with 2 total touchdowns and 165 total yards. Clark had 120 yards on 25 carriers with a long of 30 yards. He also had one reception that was good for 45 yards and a touchdown. The Cougars get ready to play another district rival in Wakulla on 10/11.
Christian Sims Jr.
Lincoln Quarterback Christian Sims Jr. (Sr.) had a great showing in a commanding victory against Leon that ended in a score of 59-7. Sims threw for 155 yards on 10 completions out of 14 attempts with 2 touchdowns a 1 interception. He ended the game with a QB rating of 117.6. Sims also had a great game running the ball with 96 yards on 5 carries with a long of 52 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. His 96 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns set a season high in both categories for the senior quarterback. Lincolns next game is against district rival Chiles on 10/11.
