During a debate this week between state Sen. Corey Simon, R-Tallahassee, and Democratic opponent Daryl Parks, the challenger backtracked on previous lies against the Republican alleging he voted in favor of the six-week abortion ban.
More than 833,000 Floridians have cast mail-in ballots for the Nov. 5 elections, as early-voting sites prepare to open Monday in many counties. Data posted Thursday morning on the state Division of Elections website showed that elections supervisors had received 833,464 mail-in ballots. That included 355,709 ballots cast by Democrats and 307,822 cast by Republicans. Also, unaffiliated voters had cast 153,407 ballots, and third-party voters had cast 16,526. Early voting will start Monday in about three dozen counties, while it will be offered statewide as of Oct. 26.

Amazon is investing $500M toward nuclear power to meet the rising energy demands of its data centers and artificial intelligence initiatives. Yesterday’s announcement comes two days after Google unveiled plans to purchase nuclear power and less than a month after Microsoft said it would reopen the Three Mile Island plant—home to the worst nuclear accident in US history—to fuel its AI efforts.

The Left now embracing nuclear power because the Europeans use it.
The same folks that have vilified nuclear power for decades now are the same ones that are screaming against the use of oil and gas for power generation today. They have no answers, just a list of don’ts.
Had we moved toward nuclear power starting in the 80s we could be reliant on nearly 100% clean nuclear power for our energy demands today.
Do not trust nuclear power.
Does anyone actually trust Amazon, Google and Microsoft to run Nuclear Power Plants?
