Notable High School Football Peformances for Week Ending 10/20

The following football players are being recognized by Tallahassee Reports based on stats provided by MaxPreps for their performance in contests for the week ending on 10/20.

Kahmaree Crumity

Godby cornerback Kahmaree Crumity (Fr.) helped the Cougar defense hold Fort Walton to only 12 points in their last game on Oct. 18. Crumity led the team in solo tackles with 5 and had an additional 3 assists. He also recorded 1 tackle for a loss. He set a personal career high in solo and total tackles for a single game. Crumity and the Cougars will face off against Dothan in their last regular season game on 11/1.

Ethan Braun

St. John Paul II wide receiver Ethan Braun (Sr.) helped the Panthers offense put 22 points on the board with a notable performance in a close game against the Rickard Raiders. JPII beat Rickards on 10/18 with a final score of 22-19. Braun accounted for two of those touchdowns while also having 156 yards on 6 receptions with a long of 41 yards. His 156 receiving yards marks a career high for Braun over the 3-year span that he has been playing varsity football for JPII. Braun and the Panthers play FAMU DRS next on 10/25.

Taylor Jacobs Jr.

Chiles quarterback Taylor Jacobs Jr. (Jr.) was almost perfect as a passer in their last away game against North Bay Haven Academy on 10/17. Jacobs threw for 135 yards on 13 completions with 14 attempts and had 4 passing touchdowns. While only throwing one incompletion, Jacobs had a final QB rating of 159.2. This marks the highest QB rating of Jacobs’ 3 years of playing varsity football for the Timberwolves. Their next game is against Leon at home on 10/25.
