  1. I think it would be cool to be on the Southern Rail Commission. Can a County Commissioner be on it?

Why would ANY Business WANT to move TO California?

  2. I’m all for Amtrak returning to Tallahassee. My wife and I went to Jacksonville just to take the train to Ft. Lauderdale a couple of months back. We spent the weekend then rode it back to Jacksonville and drove home.

Putting in and East-West route will be tough. The bridges, trestles, rails, etc. near the Apalachicola River are in terrible disrepair and would need major work. That would be expensive, perhaps expensive enough to jeopardize the project.

But I’m still in favor of looking into this. I like the idea!!!
