LOCAL NEWS

On November 19th in Tampa, the Florida Retail Federation honored Detective Autumn Moore of the Tallahassee Police Department as its 2024 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. The state’s largest retailer association says Moore has disrupted organized retail theft in the capital city with a mix of rapid response and cutting-edge technology.

One man is dead and another injured after Tallahassee police say the pair were shot around 6:45 p.m. Monday, according to a Facebook post from the Tallahassee Police Department.

LOCAL SPORTS NEWS

On Nov. 22, four high school football teams from the Tallahassee area competed in the second round of the regional championships in their respective class. Maclay, FSUHS, and Godby all lost while Lincoln was the only team to advance to the next round.

On Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, the University of West Florida (UWF) volleyball team competed in the Gulf South Conference tournament. Chiles alum Delaney Scott-Hanowell (Fr.) played an important role in both matches as a middle for UWF.

  1. Looks like I am going to have to start carrying my Gun with me. It came with 2 Clips and each Clip holds 17 Rounds. I hope that will be enough or should I buy a couple more Clips?
