President Biden Pardons Son

President Biden Pardons Son

President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, last night, weeks before the younger Biden was due to be sentenced for federal gun and tax evasion charges. The announcement marked a reversal for the president, who had previously vowed not to interfere on his son’s behalf.

Hunter faced up to 25 years in prison after being convicted this year of lying on a 2018 gun application when he falsely asserted he was not addicted to illicit drugs. Hunter separately faced up to 17 years in prison and fines of up to $1.4M after pleading guilty to tax fraud charges related to counting strip club visits, rent, and children’s tuition as business expenses, among other items. He was due to be sentenced Dec. 12 and Dec. 16, respectively.

The president reportedly decided to pardon his son over the weekend, two months before President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to take office. Read the president’s statement here.

  1. @ Commonsense = I am pretty sure that Biden will Pardon himself and the rest of his Family. It will be interesting to see how far back the Pardons will go. The good thing is, they can now haul Hunter in front of a Grand Jury and Hunter will HAVE TO answer every question they ask him, including questions about Joe and Jim and all the Shell Companies, WITHOUT PLEADING THE FIFTH or risk going to Jail.

  2. This may not be the end of the “hunt for Hunter.” Perhaps the “new FBI” will start to look into the finances of other members of the Biden family. That path of investigation may lead back to Hunter and possibly Joe himself. This Biden story may not be totally over with just this rather special Hunter pardon.

  3. The fact that President Biden picked January 1, 2014 as the start date of the Pardon – just a few months before Hunter Biden accepted a paid directorship at Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company, reveals that he knows Hunter committed crimes in the process. Statute of Limitations for these sorts of corruption cases is generally 6-years, so he was just closing the door on inquiries for good measure. I’ve seen speculation that the U.S. House and Senate will have hearings on the matter, and it’s probably safe to assume Hunter Biden will tell them to ‘pound sand’ if they invite or seek to compel him to testify.

  4. What’s this?… you mean Joe lied when he said (about a dozen times) that he wouldn’t Pardon his crackhead kid? I’m aghast; shocked I tell ya! (sarcasm off)

Like I always say; No matter how you arrange the letters D E M O C R A T… it will always spell HYPOCITE.
