Coming off of their 12th win of the season to advance to 12-4, Florida High remains at the top of the Leon County rankings with 8 games left in the season. The Seminoles have won 3 games in a row and hope to continue this streak with an away win against Godby on Jan. 14th. In their recent home matchup against a highly ranked Godby team, Rickards won 74-51 on Jan. 4.

After a tough loss to a top ranked Florida High team, the second ranked Godby Cougars hopes to upset the Seminoles with the help of home court advantage on Jan. 14. Before their highly anticipated matchup against Florida High, Godby has two games against Crossroad Academy and Westover. The Cougars will have momentum going into their next game against Crossroad Academy as they beat Gadsden County 67-56 on Jan. 7.

Rickards comes in this week ranked at third in the Leon County Rankings with a record of 9-7 and a current strength of schedule of 11.9. Rickards’ last game was a tournament game against the Durant Cougars on Dec. 28. The Raiders came out on top in a 55-45 win over Durant. Their next game is a neutral non-conference game against the Andrew Jackson Tigers on Jan. 10
