Leon County’s Children’s Services Council is expanding the programs it supports to include year-round offerings. The council is spending a total of $2.5 million for both year-round and summer programs.

After receiving “overwhelming input from the Tallahassee community,” the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announced they are rolling back plans proposed by the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency to remove the center left-turn lane and add a sidewalk on the “west side of the road between Calhoun Street and Sixth Avenue.”
