Chiles Flag Football Triumphs over Florida High

On Mar. 24, the Florida High flag football team (7-3) hosted Chiles (7-3) in what would be their second matchup of the season. Florida High came out on top in their last meeting with a 7-0 victory over the Timberwolves on Mar. 8. This was an exciting matchup on paper as both teams are ranked in the top 50 in the state based on MaxPreps with Chiles at 36 and Florida High at 24. The Timberwolves ended up getting their revenge while beating the Seminoles in convincing fashion with a final score of 25-6.

Although both teams went through the first quarter scoreless, Chiles found their rhythm in the second quarter putting up 12 points, going into halftime up 12-0. The Seminoles found their first points in the third quarter making it 12-6 as they headed into the fourth quarter looking to make a comeback. The Timberwolves had other plans as they scored 13 points in the fourth quarter and held Florida High to only 6 points all game, resulting in a final score of 25-6.
