After receiving a bye in the first round of the FHSAA 1A District 4 girls lacrosse tournament, the 3rd seeded Maclay Marauders (8-7) played the 2nd seeded Gainesville Hurricanes (16-3) in the semi-finals. Maclay lost in a nail-biting finish, 9-8. With this loss, the Marauders finished the 2025 season 8-7 and ranked 100th in the state.
The semi-finals of the district championship was a very high scoring game that led to many notable performances from the Marauders. Those performances included Neely Oberste (Jr.), accounting for six goals, Tea Agramonte (Jr.) with one goal and one assist, and Kassidy Moninger (Sr.) with one goal.
With the season coming to an end, some of the notable stat leaders for the 2024-2025 season includes Neely Oberste leading three categories with 35 goals, 10 assists and 48 ground balls, Kassidy Moniger with 22 draw wins, and keeper Molly McDonald (Jr.) with 90 saves.
