Atlanta Investment Firm Announces Bradfordville Development

Mesa Capital Partners, an Atlanta based investment firm, recently announced the groundbreaking of The Bradbury at Bannerman Village apartments in Bradfordville.

The press release states that “the development is set to address the increasing demand for high-quality rental housing in one of the metro’s most desirable neighborhoods.”

“Bradfordville is a premier residential submarket with strong demand for quality rental housing,” said Jeff Tucker, CEO and Managing Partner of Mesa Capital Partners. “We’re excited to bring a thoughtfully designed, amenity-rich apartment community to future residents.”

Situated on a 14-acre site at Bannerman Rd. and Bull Headley Rd., The Bradbury will be a key part of the Bannerman Village master-planned community, placing future residents within walking distance of a newly built Publix-anchored shopping center and the Landon Hill for-sale home community.

The Bradbury will feature two-story carriage homes and three-story walk-up buildings. Amenities will include a clubhouse, fitness center, sundry market, resort-style pool with grilling stations, dog park, EV charging stations and garage parking.

Construction financing has been secured through Cadence Bank and SouthState Bank, with The Crown Group serving as general contractor and The Coursey Group leading architectural and design services.

Leasing is scheduled to begin in mid-2026, with full completion expected in early 2027.

  1. @ L Hyatt = You can forget about Schools. I ran for County Commission several times recently and every time they brought up all these new Developments I would bring up the School Issues, with the main ones being, Needing to build more and the other being Needing to Rezone them. Kids in my Neighborhood SHOULD be going to Lincoln but instead they go to Rickards, about 6 Miles farther away.

There is a Charter School on Tram Road between Cap. Circle and S. Monroe. The City and County KNOW that they are going to add High School Grades very soon and yet, NOTHING. They need to be widening Tram Road from Cap. Circle to S. Monroe to accommodate the new Traffic coming soon.

  2. Some readers here may want to pay attention to the amendments to the Comprehensive Land Use plan now well underway. Transmittal for State review will be voted on June 11at the City Commission meeting. Leon County has already voted to transmit. The Plan will guide growth and development for the next 20+ years. If a proposed development is “in accordance with the Comp Plan” it’s going to be approved, regardless of residents’ outcry over traffic. Most Commissioners have stated that the public has known about this process “for years.” Here’s a link: https://www.compplantlc.com/

  3. Traffic already is a nightmare! This is crazy! Thomasville Road widening was outdated as soon as it was completed and now it and Meridian Road will be an absolute disaster. Goodbye Hometown Feel Tallahassee and Hello Tampa/Orlando Wannabe.

  4. That sure is a LOT of stuff being crammed onto just 14 Acres. Just how many Homes will be built there?
